Every full-timer I've spoken to has committed to going. NOT showing up for this meeting is a great way to show how much you care about your job, and if enough of us DON'T show up, it could be used against us when it comes to any lack of negotiating for those jobs. We must show that we care, ask questions, ensure that our seniority means something, and demand to be fought for.
Be sure to show up in suport of your own job, as the impending construction closing of Swan Island WILL CAUSE disruptions to YOU!
Meeting starts at 10AM, but we are gathering outside by 9:45AM.
Be sure to bring your voice and be ready to ask questions after the General Meeting concludes and the UPSers meeting begins! Know what was said by being there, not by some third hand monday night 'gossip around the water cooler.'
Subscribers, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE share this substack with as many 22.3s as possible, we are only a week away from the General Meeting!
I texted it out to around 20 of them, and have been spreading the word at work. Hope everyone else is doing the same!

Stay informed, be Involved!
Only one full timer I've spoken to hasn't given a commitment to go but I think they'll change their mind if I work on them!
It seems like most of them realize the significance of being there. Too important to simply pass on.
